Monkey Shoulder is a Scotch Whisky Blend from 3 of Speyside's finest single malts using batches of just 27 casks. Monkey Shoulder gets its name from a temporary strain malt men used to develop from turning the malted barley by hand. Luckily working practices have changed, so the condition no longer exists. Monkey Shoulder is named in tribute to the malt men who suffered for their art.
