Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch No. 6

The Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch No.6 is a skillful marriage of some of the rarest treasures from the distillery’s Warehouse 24. Malt Master David Stewart hand-selected a selection of spirits sourced from seven traditional whisky casks and two sherry butts, with an age spanning over a number of decades. The whisky was rested for several months in Tun 1401. This expression has been exclusively created for the U.S. market, and follows the hugely successful ‘Batch 3’, which was released in 2011 and to date is the only other batch of Tun 1401 to be sold in the USA.
