Yoichi distillery is the first distillery of Nikka in Hokkaido. Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka, selected this place because of its cool climate and natural environment. The distillery was founded in 1934. Yoichi 15 Year Old is rested for 15 years in oak casks.
