Longrow Red 11 Year Old Cabernet Sauvignon

First distilled in 1973, Longrow is a double distilled, heavily peated single malt. Produced at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. The malt is peat dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique smoky character, unique to Campbeltown. Less than 100 casks of Longrow are filled each year. Longrow Red has been matured in refill bourbon hogshead for 7 years. It is then further rested in fresh Cabernet Sauvignon hogsheads for 4 years. This particular spirit is a limited edition, one of only 9,000 bottlings.
